This place is delicious and absolutely amazing. Hidden gem for sure. My mother-in-law is Guatemalan and always gets food from here when she's in town so I went on my own this time. Not only is the food delicious but the people are kind. Even when extremely busy for the holiday they still had enough food for my family and then some (and so fast.) I highly recommend it!

just had some bomb ass food from this little hidden jem hole in the wall restaurant/store called La Guatemelteca off Colfax and Hanover st. It's hard to see. It's Guatemalan food. I got the pork tamales but it's not what you're used to. Also tried a chili relleno that again is not what you expect. Can't even describe it. Rice was on point, black beans were good and the tortillas are handmade. Also delicious. Check 'em out!

We missed Guatemalan breakfasts and this warmed our bellies and our souls. Delicious, authentic Guatemalan food with friendly service. We love that this place is right here in Aurora. Will be back for dinner soon!
